Bosun’s, nestled on the riverside, offers stunning panoramic views and a dining experience that celebrates Yorkshire’s finest seasonal ingredients. Led by chef Kurtus Auty, our menus blend local produce with innovative cooking techniques, delivering fresh, contemporary dishes. Enjoy farm-to-table flavors in a serene setting, with free parking available, including for disabled guests. Join us Thursday to Saturday for lunch or dinner, or savor our Sunday lunch.

Our a-la-carte menu is available both lunchtimes and evenings on Thursday through to Saturday.

Please note that dogs are welcome to join their owners for drinks on our veranda however only guide and service dogs are allowed into Bosun's at any time.

Can I bring my own cake?
Yes, you can bring your own cake. However, a £2.50 per person cakeage charge will be added to your bill for diners who bring cake instead of ordering a dessert.

Kurtus Auty

Executive Chef
Kurtus Auty, originally from Leeds, Yorkshire, discovered his passion for cooking at 12, inspired by his grandmother’s use of local produce. At 18, he joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in London, honing his skills and later working at a two-star restaurant in Bordeaux. His career took off after winning Yorkshire Young Chef of the Year in 2015 and competing in MasterChef: The Professionals. After gaining experience with Monica Galetti and at The Cliff in Barbados, he returned to the UK, joining Bosun’s. Now 26, Kurtus continues to emphasize fresh, locally sourced ingredients and looks forward to future culinary competitions and shows.
